WHAT ABOUT MONEY?
The Flint Festival of Writing is free to attend.
However, many authors, publishers, and vendors will be selling books and other materials at the festival. They may not accept payment by credit or debit. Please ensure that you bring enough cash for any purchases you may wish to make at the festival.
WHAT ABOUT FOOD?
Food and drink is available from Foster Coffee within the Ferris Wheel. There are also numerous dining and drinking options throughout Downtown Flint within blocks of the Ferris Wheel. Here is a list of options provided by the Flint and Genesee Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
WHO PLANNED THIS EVENT?
The Flint Festival of Writers is a partnership between Downtown Development Authority, East Village Magazine, Gothic Funk Press, PEN America, and the University of Michigan — Flint.
The Flint Festival of Writers Planning Committee consists of Bob Campbell, Sarah Carson, Connor Coyne, Katie Curnow, James Schirmer, and Jan Worth-Nelson.
