The University of Michigan–Flint Department of English, a longtime partner of the Flint Festival of Writers, will host Flint, Michigan’s first Poet Laureate, Semaj Brown, on Wednesday, November 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Keva Auditorium at 400 Mill St.
Brown will read from her latest book, Bleeding Fire. A dialogue with Dr. Erica Britt, Associate Professor of Sociolinguistics, will follow.
The event is free and open to the public.
